Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care in the Emergency Department on a per diem basis. The role requires assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and supervising ancillary staff within unit standards.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Michigan RN license, and obtain BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are required within specified timelines according to department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in a specialty area will be considered.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS within specified timelines as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
