McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan is hiring a Registered Nurse in Emergency Services. The role provides bedside nursing care, implements physician orders, and coordinates with team to ensure timely, quality patient outcomes.
The position requires an Michigan nursing license, ACLS, Basic Neuroscience, Dysrhythmia, TNCC, and ENPC within set timelines; experience in acute care preferred. This on-site role offers variable daily hours and no on-call responsibility.

Position Summary:
Collaborates with physician to provide a plan of care that will return the patient to optimal health. Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders. Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk and Psychiatric Tech functions. Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of care plan.

Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a current license to practice in the state of Michigan.
Must satisfactorily complete ACLS course and Basic Neuroscience course; required within first 6 months of hire/transfer.
Must satisfactorily complete first available Basic Dysrhythmia course
Must complete TNCC (Trauma Nurse Certification) within one (1) year of hire/transfer
Must complete ENPC within two (2) years of hire/transfer
Preferred:
Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent preferred
Critical Care Nurse preferred
