Job summary
McLaren Health Care is seeking an Registered Nurse for Emergency Services to deliver high‑quality nursing care using the nursing process. You will work with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards, coordinate patient care, and ensure a patient/family centered approach.
Required: nursing program graduate, Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS by orientation end date, NRP for pediatrics by orientation end date. Weekend work and holidays apply; BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Nursing program.
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification from AHA/ARC or equivalent, valid beyond start date.
- ACLS required by end of unit orientation for specified units.
- NRP certification required by end of unit orientation for PEDS.
Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
- Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
- Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Assume responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
