Job summary

McLaren Health Care, headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services department to deliver quality nursing care within the unit scope, following hospital policies and nursing process guidelines.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, MI RN license, and relevant specialty experience. ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC training is required or anticipated within specified timeframes. Schedule is 7am–7pm, full-time, with on-call No.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in a specialty area will be considered.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS required for RNs in Critical Care, Emergency, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab, ICU and Step-Down; NRP for Labor and Delivery; PALS for Pediatrics; TNCC for Emergency Department within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each patient, documents and evaluates response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
