Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an ED Tech CNA1 to join our Emergency Room team in Danbury, NC. This role combines patient care with administrative support, including ADLs, room turnover, and assisting in ED and Medical-Surgical units.

You will gain ED-focused education, work with a close-knit team, and participate in insurance verification, EMR documentation, and 12-lead EKGs. High school diploma or GED and Nurse Aide I are required; BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Nurse Aide I certification; BLS required; CPR may be department-specific.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; ED/outpatient EKG experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Prepare and turnover patient rooms; manage linens and trash.
• Restock unit supplies; set up for procedures.
• Support patient registration, insurance verification, and EMR documentation; assist with 12-lead EKGs.
