Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an ED Tech CNA1 to join our Emergency Room team. The role blends direct patient care with administrative support, including ADLs, room turnover, and basic registration tasks, with additional training in 12-lead EKGs and insurance verification.

Ideal candidates will have Nurse Aide I certification, HS diploma or GED, and strong computer skills. BLS is required; some departments may require extra CPR training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Prepare and turnover patient rooms; manage linens and trash.
• Restock unit supplies; set up for procedures.
• Support Medical-Surgical unit and assist with 12-lead EKGs and patient registration/insurance verification; EMR documentation.
