Bryan College Of Health Sciences is seeking a nursing assistant to perform clerical tasks and patient care under RN supervision. The role includes monitoring telemetry, updating information systems, and promptly notifying nursing staff of changes in patient status.
Ideal candidates hold a Nebraska CNA or EMT license with CPR/BLS certification and will communicate effectively with the care team, assist with transfers, and help maintain patient safety and dignity in a fast-paced environment.
Performs clerical and receptionist duties relating to updating and organizing of information along with input of physician orders. Working under the supervision of the charge nurse on duty, demonstrate the ability monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly notifying nursing staff with changes. The tech performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice related to direct patient care.
High School diploma or equivalency required. Active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license required.
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network
