Required: high school diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I, American Heart Association BLS, and 1 year of nurse aide experience; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year Nurse Aide experience; basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in ED/outpatient setting preferred.
• Nurse Aide I certification required.
• BLS certification required; some departments may require advanced CPR as listed on staff education record.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by anticipating needs and promoting comfort and dignity.
• Serve as a trusted partner to nurses and providers, sharing observations and supporting care plans.
• Guide safe mobility and recovery efforts, assisting ambulation and fall-prevention practices.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of vitals and patient status to support clinical decisions.
• Foster a calm environment for patients and families, offering reassurance and setting expectations.
