Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a fulltime mid-shift at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, assist with mobility and documentation, and work closely with nurses to support care plans in a fast-paced ED.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and Nurse Aide I certification with a background in basic patient care; phlebotomy and EKG experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Nurse Aide experience preferred.
• Basic patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and support daily activities to promote comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to support care plans in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Assist with safe mobility, ambulation, and fall-prevention during recovery.
• Document vitals and patient status accurately to support clinical decisions.
