Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. The CVICU nurse will provide hands-on acute bedside care, coordinate patient needs, and participate in critical care activities during night shifts (36 hrs/wk).

Sign-on bonus up to $35,000 is offered; must have active RN licensure and BLS/ACLS—CCRN/CEN/PALS/NRP preferred in the specialty. Located at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin: RNs may begin employment with a valid multi-state RN license; a WI RN license will be required within 30 days of establishing permanent residency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• CCRN, Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is preferred in the specialty area worked.
