Job summary

Ally Medical ER is seeking an experienced RN to provide professional nursing care in the emergency department in Burleson, Texas. You will triage patients, determine care priority, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to restore health.

The role requires two years of ER nursing experience, current RN license, and CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. You will adhere to privacy policies while delivering high-quality patient care and participate in annual security

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license within the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Two years of ER nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by evaluating medical complaints and reporting to physician.
• Assists physicians during exams, procedures, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Performs IV initiation, infusion, blood draws, monitoring, oxygen therapy and wound care as ordered.
• Recognizes and treats life-threatening conditions.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments across age groups and reassessments.
• Assists with procedures including laceration repair, sedation, drainage, intubation and chest procedures.
• Administers medications and documents in the medical record.
• Reviews discharge instructions and records vital signs prior to discharge.
