Job summary

Ally Medical ER in Dripping Springs, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide emergency care, triage patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Requires TX RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, and 2 years ER experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Two (2) years of ER nursing experience.
• Ability to work under physicians and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by evaluating medical complaints and reporting to physicians.
• Assists physicians during exams, procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Performs IV initiation, infusion, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, nebulized treatments, wound care and splinting.
• Conducts head-to-toe assessments across all ages and reassessments as needed.
• Assists with procedures such as laceration repair, moderate sedation, chest tubes, intubation, and childbirth-related tasks.
• Prepares and administers medications ordered by physicians and records data in medical records.
• Reviews discharge instructions and records vital signs prior to discharge.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
