Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center in Midland, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to uphold Texas Board standards and provide holistic, safe care in the Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, a current Texas RN license, at least 2 years of ER experience, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC). You will collaborate with physicians, triage patients, and ensure quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certifications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible and service-oriented.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Assess patient acuity and assign triage levels.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan care.
• Ensure patient safety and high quality care.
• Coordinate tests, treatments, and patient flow in ED.
• Document accurately in patient records.
• Maintain confidentiality and PHI.
• Follow up on lab results and physician notification.
• Adhere to OSHA and equipment maintenance procedures.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
