Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. Shift: 9:00am–9:30pm, full-time (36 hrs/week).

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push, pull and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
