Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital Washington. This part-time role runs 1:00pm–1:30am and supports a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7.

You will work with patient care techs, paramedics, and support staff to deliver high-quality care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate across departments. A current RN license and ACLS/BLS are required, with lifting ability up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
