Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with a 2:00pm–2:30am shift and a sign-on bonus for qualified nurses.

A 26-bed ED serves the community with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by care techs and team collaboration. Benefits include Day-One medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, and employer-manged retirement funds.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license) is required.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days).
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
