Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. The 26-bed ED operates 24/7 with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, supported by patient care techs, paramedics, and patient support associates.

This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with a 1pm–1am shift. It includes a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, education assistance, tuition reimbursement, day-one benefits, and generous PTO. Weekend differential adds $20/hour for RNs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.
• Must Live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
