Job summary

Renown Health is seeking a Supervisor of Clinical Nursing for the Regional Emergency Room. This full-time day-shift role directs nursing care, coordinates unit functioning, and collaborates with physicians and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

The Nurse Supervisor acts as a role model and coach, promoting evidence-based practice and supporting staff development while ensuring adherence to ANA standards.

Qualifications

• BSN or related bachelor's degree preferred, or pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree upon hire.
• Two years' experience as staff RN preferred.
• State of Nevada RN license required.
• AHA BLS certification required at time of hire; RNFA and POCA certifications encouraged.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word) and online learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the delivery of patient care on the nursing unit.
• Lead and coach nursing staff to achieve quality outcomes and professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan patient-focused care.
