Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Wixom, MI is seeking a Fleet Dispatcher to dispatch emergency roadside assistance calls to members and fleet personnel via radio or phone. You will use a dispatch system to locate member locations and provide clear directions to service teams.

The role requires strong data entry, basic math, and excellent verbal communication. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and percentages).
• Strong verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Geography knowledge for directions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor calls and take action to resolve service problems.
• Handle driver and customer escalations per procedures.
• Provide explanations and reports on service issues.
• Close service requests in the dispatch system.
• Accept payments when required.
• Reconcile simple payment issues and maintain records.
• Assist coworkers and junior dispatchers.
