Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Wixom, MI is seeking an Automotive Service Coordinator for a full-time, in-office role. You will dispatch emergency roadside calls for members and fleet personnel via radio, phone, or computer, and prioritize responses to locate member locations.

The position requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and overtime. You may back-up drive as needed, manage payments, monitor dispatch, and document service issues using the electronic system, while

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background checks and DOT health requirements.
• Prior tow truck or related driving experience and ability to operate tow trucks and light service vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Ability to perform basic math, maintain records, locate addresses efficiently, and provide directions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dispatched calls and resolve service issues promptly.
• Handle driver and customer escalations per procedures.
• Communicate updates to customers and document concerns.
• Close service requests using the electronic dispatch system.
• Accept and help resolve basic payment issues; maintain payment records.
