Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is seeking a staff RN to join a hospital-based team. This role offers a night shift with 12-hour rotations and a 0.3 FTE commitment.

You will provide specialized nursing care within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a best-in-class nursing organization. We seek candidates with acute care experience, an active WA RN license, BLS, and facility-specific ACLS/PALS/NALS or TNCC/NRP qualifications as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC/NRP as required by facility.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
