Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is seeking a Staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This role offers a 0.9 FTE with night shifts and 12-hour shifts, alternating weekends, and an opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary care model.

We value nurses as owners in clinical decision-making, with strong connections and professional development. Candidates should have a WA RN license, BLS, and preferably a BSN, with acute care experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing education to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and reduce cost.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting patient autonomy and dignity across diverse backgrounds.
