Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department at Banner Ironwood Medical Center, serving Queen Creek and surrounding communities. This full-time mid-shift role provides care to adult and pediatric patients with varying acuity under ACEP standards.

The position includes 12-hour shifts 12:00 PM–12:30 AM with weekend/holiday rotation, night differential and opportunities for self-scheduling, plus comprehensive health, financial, and security benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulates a plan of care and discharge plan in collaboration with patient/family and health team.
• Implements the plan of care with physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
