Job summary

Banner Health’s Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Center at night. Join a large, high‑volume trauma and acute care environment dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care and teamwork.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary care, document thoroughly, and communicate with physicians and families. A current RN license and BLS are required; acute care experience within the last year is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning as needed.
• Formulate and revise care plans with patient/family and health team.
• Implement and supervise nursing care according to physician orders.
• Document assessment, planning and evaluation in the patient record.
• Communicate status to physicians and the care team to ensure continuity.
