Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center in Casa Grande, AZ. You will provide direct patient care across diverse age groups in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with emphasis on safety, discharge planning and patient education. Self-scheduling and weekend differential apply where appropriate; 3x12-hour shifts available.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice (Arizona preferred).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by area.
• Experience in acute care, emergency or related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, social and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a nursing plan of care with multidisciplinary input.
• Deliver direct patient care, coordinate activities and supervise team members.
• Evaluate patient responses and update care plans accordingly.
• Document care accurately in the patient record and communicate with providers.
