Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The role involves triage, assessment, and coordination of care for a wide range of adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity environment.

The position is full-time, with three 12-hour shifts per week from 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM, including weekend and holiday rotations. An 18% night shift differential applies, plus a weekend differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care, including discharge planning, based on assessment data and input from patient and family.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and revise the plan as needed.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record with timely, accurate notes.
