Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its high-volume Emergency Department. The ED treats a wide range of acuity levels and offers 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with a night differential.

New graduates may receive 6–12 weeks of specialized ED training through the ED Academy, including PALS and TNCC. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs and plan accordingly.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care including discharge planning.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team and document care.
• Evaluate patient progress and update care plan as needed.
• Communicate patient status and needs to physicians and other staff.
