Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center is seeking Experienced Registered Nurses for FT Day Shift (7a-7:30p or 11a-11:30p) in the Emergency Center. The ED cares for pediatric and adult patients, with focus on stroke, cardiac and pediatric care. Nurses enjoy a weekend differential of $3/hour and participate in a self-scheduling tool for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice (or compact license).
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care is preferred; new grads may apply with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise the plan of care with patient, family and health team input.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient responses and outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Document care accurately in the patient record and communicate with the care team.
