Job summary

Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ, seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). The role requires strong assessment, planning, and coordination of care with a focus on safety and patient outcomes.

Excellent teamwork and adherence to nursing standards are essential. This position offers a night shift differential of 18% and a weekend differential of $3/hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is desired.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans discharge appropriately.
• Develops and revises care plans with patient and family.
• Provides direct patient care and supervises staff as needed.
• Documents assessments and care in patient records.
• Participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
