SERVPRO of Port Jefferson, Stony Brook is seeking a Crew Chief to lead restoration crews on fire, water, and mold projects in Port Jefferson Station. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes overseeing job setup, equipment, materials, progress, and safety.

You will train team members, communicate with customers about scope, coordinate with the office, help with estimates, and keep sites and vehicles organized.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews in restoration, construction, cleaning, or related trades.
• Ability to perform hands-on work, including lifting equipment and operating restoration tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to explain processes and updates.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; IICRC or restoration-related certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call or emergency shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead restoration crews on fire, water, and mold projects.
• Oversee job set-up, equipment and materials, and monitor progress.
• Ensure work meets company standards and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with the office, assist with estimates, and maintain organized job sites and vehicles.
• Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend emergency response.
