Job summary

SERVPRO of South Bronx is seeking a crew chief to join our restoration team. You will work closely with the general manager, project managers, and clients to ensure projects are accurately estimated, efficiently managed, and successfully delivered.

The crew chief performs restoration processes across water, fire, mold, and biohazard scenarios and maintains SERVPRO equipment and assigned service vehicle. Excellent documentation of site conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver's license.
• Tech Savvy and able to operate digital tools.
• Good photo documentation of the job site.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities including water, fire, mold, biohazard, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements to supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms for work activities, set up staging areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with management and technicians to maintain efficiency.
• Complete end-of-day cleanup and leave the jobsite orderly.

We are seeking a crew chief to join our growing SERVPRO of South Bronx restoration team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute across all phases of a project. You will work closely with the general manager, project managers, and clients to ensure projects are accurately estimated, efficiently managed, and successfully delivered. The crew chief performs restoration processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the crew chief represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities, including but not limited to water damage, fire damage, mold damage, biohazard, setup of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO brand and grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up a staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
