Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Support in Honolulu, HI. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with a welcoming, safe environment.

This full-time role pays $20.00 per hour with a Monday through Sunday evening shift schedule. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be 18+ years old, and able to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
