Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Checks in Honolulu, HI. You will monitor and safeguard a utility site while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires monitoring access, conducting site patrols, and responding to incidents per site protocols. Pay is $22.28 per hour with full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at utility facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, deliveries, and other site activity in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response protocols.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and promptly communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
