Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination) in Honolulu, HI. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide exceptional customer service, and report security concerns following site procedures.

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to utility personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, offices, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Report observed hazards, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
