Job summary

Qualifications

• CCRNs or CEN certification preferred.
• Minimum three years of current critical care nursing experience in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Code Triage) and provide critical care assessment.
• Stabilize patients and transition to appropriate level of care (ICU, telemetry, etc.).
• Mentor and support nursing staff; identify education opportunities and credentialing needs.
• Document interventions and patient response in the electronic health record.
• Participate in emergency policy development, QA, safety, and infection control initiatives.
