Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Rhode Island or compact state.
• BSN preferred; candidates actively enrolled in BSN may be considered.
• CCRN or CEN certification preferred.
• Minimum three years of critical care nursing in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Code Triage) to provide critical care assessment and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to stabilize and transition patients to appropriate levels of care.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and critical care standards.
• Support nursing staff and mentor less experienced personnel.
• Lead and participate in quality/performance improvement initiatives related to emergency response.
