Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island RN license or compact state license per Nurse Licensure Compact.
• BSN preferred; candidates actively enrolled in BSN considered.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Code Triage) to provide critical care assessment and interventions.
• Stabilize and transition patients in clinical decline to ICU, telemetry, or other care settings.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and critical care standards; mentor clinical teams.
• Identify opportunities for staff education and clinical skill development; support newly licensed nurses.
• Document interventions and patient responses in the EHR; participate in policy/procedure development and quality initiatives.

Education

BSN preferred / Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
