Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke) and provide critical care assessment and interventions.
• Stabilize patients and transition to appropriate level of care (ICU, telemetry).
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and critical care standards.
• Support staff education, mentor new graduates, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Document interventions and patient response in the electronic health record.
