Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks a skilled ES&H professional to integrate environmental, safety, and health requirements into project planning, government documents, design specs, and construction schedules. You will interpret complex requirements, apply ES&H principles, and craft scopes of work and methodologies to maintain compliance.

You will provide technical assistance to ES&H colleagues and other project functions, ensuring adherence to all safety rules and emergency protocols across the Thacker

Qualifications

• Certified in Emergency response.
• Volunteer firefighter or verifiable experience in Rescue Brigades, Emergency Control, and Coordination (5 years).
• NFPA standards and life-safety knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise Bechtel contractors on safety inspections and risk assessment.
• Participate in critical activities with brigade presence for hazardous work.
• Coordinate, execute and evaluate emergency drill exercises on site.
• Generate drill reports detailing findings and improvements.
• Review safety requirements to ensure adequate emergency response planning.
• Coordinate with project contractor emergency coordinators to align ERE and project brigades.
• Support inter-area communications and bechtel ESH leaders in implementing emergency plans.
• Ensure compliance with emergency response procedures across project areas.
