Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced Environmental Project Lead to integrate environmental requirements across planning, design, construction, and procurement on major EPC projects in the U.S. This role focuses on compliance with federal and state environmental laws, NEPA processes, and EMS development for large-scale infrastructure programs.

You will lead technical teams, coordinate with engineering, construction, and subcontractors, and ensure environmental deliverables meet schedule,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in environmental sciences or related field required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total work experience.
• Strong knowledge of US and California environmental regulations.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, construction and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Integrates environmental requirements into planning, design and construction documents.
• Provides technical guidance on environmental compliance and EMS plans.
• Coordinates with project teams and regulatory agencies to ensure permit compliance.
• Leads or supports Environmental Lead duties on medium projects.
