Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an experienced ES&H professional to provide technical oversight of the project’s ES&H compliance activities through inspection of field execution activities. You will work with project and construction management to implement safety requirements and address ES&H issues as they arise.

You will collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and other functions to ensure ES&H compliance and daily site surveillance to verify PPE use and safety

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910; Bechtel ESH Core Processes preferred.
• Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction; ability to lead investigations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates ES&H disciplines to implement Bechtel's ES&H program and standards.
• Delivers toolbox talks and site meetings to advise on safety requirements.
• Develops and maintains ES&H programs, systems, and procedures for worker safety and environmental protection.
• Maintains ES&H databases, including incidents and corrective actions.
• Performs ES&H data analysis to identify trends and improvements.
• Prepares communications, reports, and documents for program execution and records retention.
• Coordinates incident notifications, leads investigations, and prepares reports.
• Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness, and QA programs.
• Coordinates ES&H recognition programs.
