Job summary

Bechtel is seeking professionals for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada to integrate ES&H issues into planning documents, government documents, design specifications and schedules, and subcontract packages.

You will implement ES&H requirements, provide technical assistance to ES&H staff, and present emergency response protocols with clear command structures and coordination with project emergency planners.

Qualifications

• Certified in Emergency response.
• Volunteer firefighter experience or equivalent with 5 years of verifiable experience in Rescue Brigades, Emergency Control and Coordination.

Responsibilities

• Advising Bechtel contractors during critical activities and safety inspections.
• Participating early in hazardous work with brigade presence as required by Bechtel.
• Coordinating and evaluating emergency drill exercises for all project types.
• Generating drill reports to inform Bechtel of findings.
• Reviewing project safety requirements to ensure adequate emergency response planning.
• Interacting with emergency coordinators to link ERE teams and project brigades.
