Job summary

Merit Restorations is seeking an Emergency Response Coordinator to be the first on scene, earning trust and guiding owners toward recovery. You will secure emergency service agreements and drive the restoration process in a fast-paced, high-urgency setting across Northern Virginia and West Virginia.

This field-based role requires empathy, ownership, and the ability to manage high-pressure conversations with homeowners, adjusters, and contractors while working 24/7.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, or outside sales preferred.
• Proven ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable gathering, documenting, and relaying critical information to adjusters, Project Managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-site emergencies and present Merit’s mitigation and restoration services.
• Lead property owners through next steps with clarity and empathy; secure signed work authorizations.
• Convert emergency leads into signed jobs with professional on-scene sales execution.
• Document site visits and customer interactions in CRM systems (HubSpot, DASH).
• Build relationships with first responders, insurance adjusters, and property managers.
