Job summary

Hagerty Consulting Inc. seeks an Independent Contractor for the Response Division to support on-call missions across the United States. This role requires deployment within 24 to 72 hours of notice and on-site availability for at least 30 days during activations.

You will translate emergency management requirements into actionable plans, produce SITREPs and IAPs, and coordinate with partners and ESFs. Prior NIMS ICS training and strong MS Office skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 3+ years in emergency management or related fields (or 6 years total experience in lieu of degree).
• NIMS ICS All Hazards training or equivalent credentials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative guidance translating complex emergency management regulations into actionable operational strategies.
• Develop incident deliverables such as SITREPs, IAPs, and operational work plans in compliance with client policy.
• Act as liaison between external partners and leadership, facilitate meetings, and provide status updates during the response cycle.
• Create IAPs and assist with managing operational objectives translating high-level strategy into actionable assignments.
• Support continuous operations within EOC or JFO during activations.
