Job summary

Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks a Public Safety Response Coordinator to monitor CAD and CCTV systems across BRCC locations, manage emergency communications, and coordinate with first responders to protect students and staff.

The role involves prioritizing calls, directing officers, maintaining logs, and ensuring NCIC/compliance while delivering professional public-facing service to the BRCC community.

Responsibilities

• Inform Officers of complaints and transmit information to ensure safety.
• Receive and analyze emergency and non-emergency calls; prioritize them.
• Handle complex calls and respond to public inquiries.
• Transmit messages via radio, phone, CAD, teletype.
• Maintain officer locations and dispatch as needed; relay information.
