Job summary

BRCC is seeking a Public Safety Response Coordinator to perform dispatch, CCTV monitoring, and public-contact duties across BRCC locations. Under general supervision, you will coordinate emergency responses, manage security communications, and support police and campus safety operations.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in criminal justice or related field, plus two years’ experience or equivalent, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience or an associate degree in lieu of the required experience.
• A high school diploma with four years of relevant experience.
• Advanced written and oral communication; ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Inform Officers of complaints and transmit information for safety and investigation.
• Receive and analyze emergency and non-emergency calls; prioritize accordingly.
• Dispatch officers and coordinate with wreckers, ambulances and other first responders.
• Enter all call information into the CAD system and maintain accurate logs.
• Review CCTV footage, report outages and preserve video evidence as needed.
• Support police and campus safety operations with timely incident timelines.
