Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per department standards
• Advanced certifications required within specified timeframes (ACLS, BLS, TNCC)
• TNCC/ENPC or PALS must be obtained within the stated timelines
• Registered Nurse license in good standing and state-specific practice requirements

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and care team
• Provides individualized, comprehensive care using established nursing models
• Advocates for patients and families to support optimal outcomes
• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management
• Documents care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures
• Translates medical information for patient understanding
• Supports self-management and follow-up after discharge
