Job summary

The University of Kentucky Police Department is seeking an Emergency Management (EM) Specialist to develop and maintain emergency plans and programs ensuring UK HealthCare compliance with regulatory standards. You will coordinate planning efforts and maintain emergency communication protocols, and participate in on-call rotations to support HICC operations.

Reporting to the Emergency Management Director of Operations, this role may serve across UK HealthCare's Emergency Management Division as

Qualifications

• Experience with National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and Incident Command Structure (ICS)
• Ability to create training plans and conduct training exercises
• Experience in emergency management planning and program development

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency planning efforts and maintain protocols
• Lead or participate in on-call rotations and support HICC operations
• Report to Emergency Management Director of Operations and collaborate across UK HealthCare Emergency Management Division
