Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to function within a high-quality, efficiency-driven medical team. You will deliver patient care across fast track, med/surg, and critical care settings, perform EKGs and monitor basic arrhythmias, and assist in procedures setup.

You will input discharge instructions into our computer system, manage patient tracking, and support a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Advanced English is required; Spanish and Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a variety of patients (fast track, med/surg and critical care).
• Perform EKGs and cardiac monitoring with recognition of basic arrhythmias.
• Assist in procedure setup and wound care.
• Perform accurate triages and discharges of patients of all ages.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software.
• Turn over rooms per protocol.
• Communicate with team members and patients.
• Manage the patient tracking system.
• Travel up to 30% to support clinic operations across the market.
