Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC, seeks an Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) to lead education, evidence‑based practice, and staff development in a busy ED. The educator serves as a clinical resource for bedside care, mentors new graduates, and coordinates ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and other courses while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

Requirements: BSN; MS in Education preferred. Three years ED experience and one year education experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN approved RN program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Education preferred.
• Three years of ED clinical experience.
• One year of education experience preferred.
• Current SC nursing license or compact state license; BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NRP.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in assessing, providing, and evaluating education and practice needs.
• Serves as a clinical resource for bedside care in the ED.
• Leads competency-based orientation programs and staff development.
• Coordinates ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, Basic Arrhythmia, and other courses as appropriate.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and quality improvement efforts.
• Collaborates with education staff and Nursing Directors to revise nursing practice policies.
